This versatile cape makes a great coverup for a summer outfit or adds a touch of color to a winter outfit. It can be worn as a traditional poncho or even turned and worn sideways. Two border styles are provided to create different looks. Instructions are also provided for a smaller neck opening if desired and detailed graphs are included for reference. Classic Summer Set
Dress up in this classic summer set, which also includes a matching hat*, or wear the pieces as separates. The models were made using cream and pale yellow size 10 cotton crochet thread and a size 7 (1.65 mm) crochet hook. The finished chest sizes for the top are: 31-1/2", 36", 40-1/2", 45", and 49-1/2". The finished waist/hip sizes for the skirt are: 22-1/4"/36", 25"/40-1/2", 27-3/4"/45", 30-1/2"/49-1/2", and 33-1/4"/54". The hat size is 22-1/2" circumference. Quick & Easy Hats
These three hats are quick and fun to crochet. The Shell and Rosette hats were made using a worsed weight crochet yarn in taupe and cream, respectively, and size H (5.00 mm) and I (5.50 mm) crochet hooks. The Pineaple hat was created using size 3 cotton crochet thread in light and medium brown, and size F (3.75 mm) and G (4.00 mm) crochet hooks. The profits from the sale of this pattern will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of my niece and mom who have survived these difficult diseases.
