June Fishing Adventure Set

This fun set includes the Ocean Days Afghan with a wavy border, the Fishing Adventures Vest and Hat sized for your newborn to 12 month old, the fish plushie/applique, and a matching outfit for your American Girl doll. The afghan and hat incorporate a corner-to-corner style technique to create the design. This set is sixth in a series of baby afghan sets using a hybrid of corner-to-corner and filet crochet techniques, with popcorn stitches added to enhance the design.

Materials:

The afghan, vest, hat and fish plushie were all created using soft worsted weight yarn and a size G (4.25 mm) and H (5.00 mm) crochet hook. The American Girl outfit was created using DK weight acrylic yarn and a size E (3.50 mm) and F (3.75 mm) crochet hook.

Afghan: 40" square
Fishing Adventures Vest (chest): Newborn - 18-1/4”, 6 Mo - 20-3/4”, and 12 Mo - 23-1/4”
Fishing Adventures Hat (circumference): Newborn - 12-1/2", 6 Mo - 14-3/4", and 12 Mo - 17"
American Girl Fishing Outfit: Vest - 15" chest; Hat - 12" circumference
