Whimsical Birds Valance

This delightful valance is covered with whimsical birds sitting on branches and flying through the air. A slight gathering at the top of the valance is incorporated into the pattern. The rod pocket is also built into the design to fit a 5/8” or 3/4” inch curtain rod. The valance is shown on a 56" wide window.

Materials:

The model was created using cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 8 (1.50 mm) crochet hook.

Finished Sizes:

90" wide x 16" long from bottom of rod (63" wide in gathered section). A pattern repeat of 10" (7" in gathered section) allows adjustment in width to fit your window.
